Carl Pei of OnePlus mentioned yesterday that the OnePlus Two would launch sometime in late 2015. However, a Chinese retailer has jumped the gun and listed the OnePlus Two on its site, along with details on the hardware of the device. Obviously, this hasn’t been confirmed by OnePlus yet, so take it with a sizable pinch of salt.
The listing claims that the smartphone is packing a 5.5 inch display, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3,300 mAh battery and a powerful Snapdragon 805 SoC. Pricing for the device is revealed to be the local equivalent of $551.99.
This could well be a hoax in order to build hype and generate pageviews for the site, so don’t get excited just yet. But is it possible that OnePlus is looking to surprise the market by launching the OnePlus Two during the MWC event in March? Only time will tell. In the meantime, let us know what you think about these latest findings.
