With 2014 drawing to a close, rumors have begun circulating about devices that we expect to see in early 2015. One of the first handsets to break cover every year is the HTC One flagship. And according to a new rumor, the One M9 will break cover in Q1 2015, which is in line with reports of a March unveiling.
This report from China also suggests that the handset will come with a 5.5 inch 2K resolution display, a 16-megapixel camera, a Snapdragon 805 chipset, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0 Lollipop with Sense 7 UI. The rumor also suggests that HTC will utilize front facing speakers made by Bose, keeping it a notch above the competition. This is something I’m particularly interested in seeing as HTC’s front facing speakers have been the best in the business over the past couple of years. The report also mentions the Prime variant launching sometime later in the year, although we won’t be holding our breath for that one.
