It is common knowledge by now that the Sony Xperia Z4 will be announced in early 2015. And a new leak courtesy of the recent Sony hack might have just given us our first glimpse of the device. This is supposedly a product placement pitch for the upcoming James Bond flick, Spectre. Interestingly, we’re given a look of two different designs, indicating that these could be early mockups of the future Xperia flagship.
Although it’s natural to assume that Sony is going with the tried and tested glass design, this leak reveals the existence of a design with rounded corners and a soft touch back. There’s also mention of a May and November launch, which could for two different variants of the device. The email further reveals a wearable like accessory for use in the upcoming Bond film, although there’s not much to go with apart from this rendering at the moment.
It’s quite interesting that a leak of this magnitude has revealed something about the upcoming Sony flagship. For those unaware, a group of North Korean hackers are responsible for this widespread leak related to Sony Pictures.
