A new AnTuTu benchmark listing has confirmed that HTC’s upcoming flagship, the Hima will be launched through Verizon Wireless in the U.S. The device in the listing is revealed to be packing the model number HTC6535LVW, with the last two alphabets confirming that it’s headed towards Big Red.
The HTC One M8 on Verizon was known as HTC6525LVW, while the One M7 went by HTC6500LVW, which confirms that this is indeed the upcoming HTC flagship. The hardware on this smartphone is shown to be pretty beastly with a 5 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 810 SoC, a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back with a 13-megapixel front camera, 3GB of RAM and Android 5.0.1 rounding off the specs sheet.
The decision to go with a 1080p display on the device could have been taken due to the fact that 2K displays are pretty heavy on the battery. The massive front camera on the smartphone might be one of the key selling points though. The HTC One M9 or the Hima flagship is expected to break cover sometime during March or April, so we still have some waiting to do.
