Fleksy keyboard for Android brings GIF support

The Fleksy keyboard for Android has just received support for sending GIF messages, making it the first keyboard app to do so. This is possible thanks to what the team calls Extensions which floats over the keyboard. Users can edit and add extensions as necessary, with the ability to add an app launcher as one of the extensions.

With the keyboard, users can have up to three extensions on their keyboard. But more can be added by purchasing them from Fleksy’s dedicated store. You can also get color packs for the keyboard to customize it even further. These can set you back by $0.99 or $2.99 depending on your choice.

The makers of Fleksy have also introduced a new UI feature which adopts the colors of the app you’re using, thus maintaining uniformity. The update is now live in the Play Store, so let us know what you think when you get it.
