Video shows LG G3 running Android 5.0 Lollipop

Earlier yesterday we heard from LG about its plans to rollout the Android 5.0 update to the G3 handset starting this week. Although the update will only start in Poland initially, it goes without saying that other markets won’t be far away. And today, a new video has popped up which shows us what the update will look like on the LG flagship. Interestingly, the smartphone is running on China Unicom’s network which means that LG could include Asian markets in the initial rollout phase as well.

As for what’s new with Android 5.0, LG has decided to keep its skin intact and users can barely recognize that it’s running Android 5.0. It seems like LG wants users to be familiar with its stock user interface which explains why there aren’t too many Material Design elements on show here. This ROM can be downloaded right now through the XDA forums from the link provided below but we suggest you do so at your own risk.

Are you impressed with what LG has done with Android 5.0?
