Over the weekend, news broke out that T-Mobile might have a very limited amount of units of the Nexus 6 to go around on November 12, the day Google’s giant Nexus flagship is set to launch on all major carriers. Well, T-Mobile has now confirmed that the launch of the Nexus 6 will be delayed by a full week to November 19, and that no stock would be made available today.
According to TmoNews, Motorola was supposed to ship inventory to T-Mobile this week, but was unable to do so. The shortage is apparently so high that some T-Mobile retail stores would not have received even demo units; it’s not surprising Motorola is having issues with production given it’s no longer a big manufacturer as it once was, but it is an indication that Google’s latest Nexus phone will not be easily available even after it becomes available for general purchase.
