After it was reported that the Nexus 6 is facing some stock related issues, we’re now hearing that American carrier Sprint will only offer the smartphone in the 32GB configuration and only in Midnight Blue. So if you were looking to get the device from the carrier, your options are fairly limited.
It is being said that the Cloud White model could be a Play Store exclusive, which will mean that customers will have to head over to Google’s dedicated store in order to get this particular variant. Or this could just be Google’s way of nullifying the stocking issues by offering some models through its dedicated stores.
T-Mobile has already shown signs of not having a lot of units in its stores, so the stocks issue could be more widespread than initially thought. Google was widely criticized for the way the pre-orders were handled when the device went live a couple of weeks ago. And some customers have been waiting eagerly to get the device through carriers so as to avoid this completely.
This new revelation was made by a Sprint employee over at Twitter, so it’s coming from a pretty reliable source. Were you planning on getting the Nexus 6 via Sprint?
