According to a new revelation, Motorola could be prepping the launch of the second gen Moto 360 for early 2015. The report stems from comments made by Gleb Mishin who leads Motorola’s Eastern European division. He has apparently claimed to the Russian media that the upcoming Moto 360 successor will be more “beautiful” and feature a design which is more like a watch.
Since his words could have been taken out of context, we suggest you take this with a pinch of salt for the time being. Perhaps Motorola will have something to offer in time for the MWC which is to be held in March. But considering the delays the first gen Moto 360 has seen earlier this year, we wouldn’t put our money on seeing the launch of a successor that early.
It was reported by an analysis firm yesterday that the Moto 360 was the most sold Android Wear device with a 15% hold of the smartwatch marketshare. So it’s clear that Motorola’s first smartwatch has been well received by the public. What do you expect to see on the second gen Moto 360?
