Samsung Galaxy S6 code named Project Zero, expected to get an all new design

Samsung CSC

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been subject of criticism from the public for featuring a very familiar design compared to its predecessors. Samsung tried to change that to some extent with the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy Alpha series. A new rumor is now indicating that the Korean manufacturer is contemplating a complete design makeover for the Galaxy S6 which is expected to break cover early next year.

The rumor indicates that the Samsung team has code named this device Project Zero with some interesting changes expected to be in tow. Strangely, the device is still said to be in its early developmental stages. And if Samsung has to begin mass production of the handset by January, there’s not much time left for the company to finish designing the smartphone.

It is expected that the handset will borrow design principles from the Galaxy Alpha which packs a metal chassis and an overall premium design. We don’t think Samsung is willing to go the all-metal route like HTC or Apple yet, but it will certainly be interesting to see what they have in store for the fans. What are your expectations from the Galaxy S6?
