Republic Wireless has just announced the arrival of the 2014 Moto X. The Motorola flagship will be available for purchase from the carrier starting December 10 in both 16 and 32GB configurations. Interested buyers can also get the device through Moto Maker, which will let them customize the device according to their liking.
The 16GB base model of the smartphone has been priced at $399.99 which is a good $100 less than Motorola’s official off contract pricing. If you’re seeking more internal storage from the smartphone, you can grab the 32GB variant for $449.99. The smartphone has only recently received the Android 5.0 update, so customers will be greeted to the latest release of Android with the 2014 Moto X.
The smartphone also packs a 5.2 inch 1080p display, front facing speakers, a 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 2-megapixel front camera, 2GB of RAM and a 2,300 mAh battery. The carrier is yet to provide information on voice and data plans available with the handset, but we should get more clarity on that in the coming days.
