We’ve seen stock Android L builds on devices like the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 7 so far. But it seems like Google has already issued pre-release version of the software to top OEMs, as a new video is showing the Samsung Galaxy S5 running a TouchWiz skinned version of Android L, complete with Material Design elements.
The device shown in the video is running build LRW58J of Android L on the Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) which is the global version of the handset. The leak is apparently of a very early version of the ROM, so don’t get your hopes up just yet. But considering the nature of such leaks, it shouldn’t be long before curious users get their hands on this particular ROM.
It’s quite interesting to see the changes Samsung has made with the stock Android L ROM. There’s also prominence of white in many areas which could be a concern for the battery life of the device. But it could well be fixed in time for the final release.
Do you like the look of the TouchWiz skinned Android L?
