After failed attempts of succeeding in the Android universe, Vertu finally has an offering which is on level pegging with most flagships that are currently available in the market. The company has just announced the Aster, with a price tag of $6,900 promising to bring high end hardware and materials to those looking for that sort of a thing.
The handset is packing a 4.7 inch 1080p display, a 13-megapixel camera on the back, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 64GB of internal storage, Android 4.4 KitKat, a 2,275 mAh battery and stereo speakers on the front. The handset comes with Vertu’s concierge service for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase, down from 1 year which was offered with older Vertu smartphones. The Aster can be purchased in Calf leather, Snake skin or Ostrich skin variants with the latter two costing $9,100 and $9,700 respectively. Take a gander at the Vertu Aster from the link below and have your pick.
It’s not meant for everybody as you can tell from the price tag, but it’s good to know that Vertu is finally looking to keep up with times.
