Verizon is now rolling out the Android 4.4.4 update along with the flurry of Eye Experience features for the HTC One M8 smartphone. The T-Mobile variant of the smartphone started receiving the update yesterday, so it was only a matter of time before Verizon joined in on the action. As expected, the highlight of this OTA update is the inclusion of the camera oriented Eye Experience features and customers can expect to find plenty of new changes to the camera app thanks to this addition.
Android 4.4.4 on the other hand doesn’t introduce too many changes as it only fixes the Open SSL related vulnerabilities, so don’t expect a change in the UI or other core HTC features. The Eye Experience features were originally revealed with the Desire Eye earlier this month and it brings forth a flurry of camera specific features, including something for selfie addicts. Make sure you download the update from Verizon when the OTA hits your smartphone later today.
