A seller on eBay is offering the AT&T model of the Galaxy S5 for just $419.99. This is the unlocked variant of course, which means you can add any compatible GSM SIM card of your choice to operate the device. The smartphone will be supplied in an open box, which is usually the case when devices arrive back to the retailer or carrier. This doesn’t mean that the device is used though, as the smartphone is still brand new. If you can look over this tiny aspect, the Galaxy S5 for $420 is an excellent deal, considering it’s Samsung’s first flagship of the year.
With the Galaxy Note 4 launching recently, it’s understandable that the Galaxy S5 has taken a back seat on our minds. However, this deal will bring back the focus on the smartphone to some extent. The Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1 inch 1080p display, a 16-megapixel camera on the back, a quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 2,800 mAh battery. The smartphone is also water and dust resistant with IP67 certification.
