The Sony Xperia Z3 is available for purchase via T-Mobile USA starting today. The handset can be bought with the $0 down payment plan which will set you back by $26.25 per month for a period of two years. This roughly translates to an off contract pricing of $630. The Xperia Z3 is a stellar performer as its top notch internal hardware is accompanied with a sturdy exterior which comes with an IP68 certification making it the immune to water and dust damage.
The Xperia Z3 comes with a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel camera on the back, a 2.2-megapixel front facing snapper, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 3,100 mAh battery. The Xperia Z3 will also be sold through Verizon as the Xperia Z3v with official availability slated to begin this Thursday.
Although the Xperia Z3 has a very attractive specs sheet, it faces tough competition from the likes of the LG G3 and the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 4. It will be interesting to see if the Sony offering will be able to make any damage in the U.S. market in the midst of these flagship smartphones.
