T-Mobile’s variant of the Sony Xperia Z3 is launching in a couple of weeks from now on October 29 according to a new statement issued by the carrier. The handset is also launching through Verizon as the Xperia Z3v on October 23, which will most likely garner the most eyeballs given that Big Red hasn’t launched a Sony phone in quite a while.
Customers can get the smartphone through T-Mobile by paying $630 up front or $26.25 per month for a period of 24 months. This is considerably cheaper than most flagships available in the market today which makes the Xperia Z3 from T-Mobile a very attractive proposition for prospective buyers. Interested customers can pre order the smartphone starting this Wednesday, so make sure you set a reminder to be the first in line to receive Sony’s premier offering from T-Mobile.
The Xperia Z3 is packing a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a 20.7-megapixel camera, the quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 3,100 mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 KitKat. The smartphone also supports PS4 Remote Play, allowing you mirror the contents of your console to the handset.
