Sprint LG G2 getting an update carrying the HD Voice feature

Sprint’s version of the LG G2 is now receiving a firmware update which brings forth the HD Voice feature to this 2013 flagship. It’s good to know that Sprint is issuing an update to a device like the G2 which is almost forgotten ever since the successor stormed the markets. Along with introducing HD Voice, Sprint’s changelog also makes a mention of bringing LTE related enhancements to the device, which should improve connectivity to a great extent.

The update is rolling out in the conventional fashion, so you should wait for an OTA notification to pop on your smartphone. Considering the nature of the update, we don’t think it will take a massive load on your data cap. Remain patient if you don’t see the update on your smartphone right away, as OTA updates usually take a few days to reach all devices. But rest assured, an update is certainly on its way to your Sprint branded LG G2.
