Sprint bringing 4G LTE to 17 new markets starting Oct.28

Sprint Logo

America’s third largest carrier, Sprint will light up 17 regions of the U.S. with its 4G LTE signals starting from the 28th of February. The carrier is going through quite a makeover, so it’s imperative that the networks are expanded to as many regions as possible to avoid user migrations. The carrier has been losing customers to the likes of T-Mobile due to the remarkably cheap data tariffs and a very aggressive marketing campaign.

You can find Sprint’s 4G LTE signals this Tuesday in the following regions:

  • Champaign/Urbana, IL
  • Denver, CO
  • Elizabeth City, NC
  • Florence, SC
  • Glen Falls, NY
  • Grand Forks, ND
  • Kingston, NY
  • Marinette, WI
  • Muscatine, IA
  • North Wilkesboro, NC
  • Oak Harbor, WA
  • Ogden/Clearfield, UT
  • Outer Banks, NC
  • Pendleton/Hermiston, OR
  • Richmond/Berea, KY
  • Roseburg, OR
  • Sacramento, CA

Thanks to the rival carriers, Sprint’s data plans are beginning to get pretty competitive and user friendly. But without substantial coverage across the U.S., the affordable data plans won’t matter much. This is an area where the likes of AT&T and Verizon have a significant upper hand over Sprint and T-Mobile.
