Samsung Galaxy Note 4 developer edition now available via Verizon

Galaxy Note 4

A few days ago we told you about Verizon’s intentions to carry the developer edition Galaxy Note 4. And the smartphone has gone official today with a price tag of $699.99. This is the no contract version of the smartphone, so you’ll have to shell out the full retail price if you want the Galaxy Note 4 on Verizon with an unlockable bootloader and no carrier bloatware.

Apart from this, the Galaxy Note 4 Developer Edition is pretty much the same as the standard model and packs a 5.7 inch Quad HD display, a 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 SoC, a 16-megapixel camera on the back with OIS, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 3,220 mAh battery.

The smartphone is one of the best phablets money can buy right now, along with the Nexus 6 which is expected to land on all major carriers in mid-November. As of now, the developer edition Galaxy Note 4 is only sold through Verizon with no word on other carriers. But we wouldn’t put it past the likes of AT&T or Sprint to offer such a model in the coming days.
