About a year ago, Samsung launched the second iteration of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet sporting a meaty Quad HD display and flagship level hardware. The company’s website has now revealed the existence of a 2015 model of the tablet in descriptions for Samsung WatchON and a couple of other pages. Although the tablet hasn’t exactly been officially shown anywhere, it’s safe to assume that a successor to last year’s Galaxy Note 10.1 is on its way.
Hardware wise, we can expect the company to make the switch to the Snapdragon 805 chipset which is used on the Galaxy Note 4 phablet. The display should remain unchanged, although we won’t be surprised if Samsung goes with an AMOLED panel this time as it already makes 10.5 inch AMOLED displays for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5.
We can expect an official announcement of the tablet anytime soon as it’s already being mentioned on the company’s website. Would you be interested in a new Galaxy Note series tablet? Sound off below.
