The excitement around the Galaxy Note 4 is yet to die down, but as we’ve known for some time, Samsung has been preparing to launch three new metallic smartphones sometime later this year. One of those devices is the Galaxy A5, and while we’ve already seen quite a few leaked details, we’re getting an even clearer look at the A5’s specifications, images and pricing thanks to a Kazakhistani retailer.
The specs listed by the retailer are a bit different from what has been rumored before. For example, the A5 is listed with a dual-core 1.2GHz processor instead of a quad-core unit, though it’s likely the final device will have a quad-core CPU like the Snapdragon 400. Other listed specs include a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display, a microSD card slot, 13-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat. The phone’s dimensions, meanwhile, are listed as 139.3 x 69.7 x 7 mm, suggesting a very thin profile similar to the Galaxy Alpha.
The Galaxy A5 is mentioned with a 99,990 Kazakhstani Tenge price tag, which comes to around $552. That’s considerably higher than the previously rumored $400-$450 price tag, though we will have to wait for official details from Samsung to see how much the phone will actually retail for.
