The Nexus 6 smartphone is not too far away from an official announcement, as most of you probably know by now. And to give us a better idea of what to expect in terms of size, a new image of the device posing next to the Apple iPhone 6 Plus has just surfaced courtesy of TK Tech News. As we can see from the image, the Nexus 6 is significantly larger than the Apple flagship, but not by much. This is a bit of a surprise as the Nexus 6 packs a 5.9 inch display while the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch panel.
It’s quite clear from this image that Google and Motorola have kept the size at a minimum despite offering a screen as big as this. The Nexus 6 is going to be Motorola’s largest smartphone till date, so it’s quite a significant device for the company. As for Google, this shows the company’s eagerness to appeal to the phablet audience along with the conventional smartphone owners. Ultimately, Android is all about choice, so it’s good to know that Google has something for everybody. It is possible that Google will keep the Nexus 5 in stock for people who aren’t looking for a large device.
