The Moto E, arguably one of the best cheap smartphones around, will be coming to Republic Wireless, one of the cheapest carriers. The Moto E will cost $99 with no contract starting October 15th, which is slightly cheaper than getting it somewhere else.
Since Republic Wireless mostly uses Wi-Fi for calls and data, plans for the Moto E start at just $5 per month for Wi-Fi only calls and no data. Since the Moto E is a 3G device, plans max out at $25 per month for unlimited calling and data over the 3G network as well as wifi.
The company is a Sprint MVNO, so if you’re going to use the phone over the 3G network as well as Wifi, check Sprint coverage in your local area before signing up.
