Amazon has just listed the Champagne gold variant of the Moto 360 smartwatch sporting a metal strap along with the dark metal and natural metal models. The company was expected to launch the metal band Moto 360 before the end of 2014, but there was no mention of a gold colored version, which has taken us all by surprise.
The Champagne gold model is available in both 18 and 23mm models, which gives multiple choices for potential customers. Unfortunately, the listing appears to have been taken down from Amazon, hinting that this could have been accidental. But rest assured, we expect it to go live sometime soon.
There’s no word on when customers will be able to get their hands on these metal bands, but we do know that the smartwatches will be priced at $299.99, which is a $50 premium on the leather model. The metal bands which were briefly listed on the site don’t look anything like what we’ve seen in press renders before, so it’s clear that Motorola has done some last minute design tweaking.
