America’s second largest carrier, AT&T has just announced the arrival of the first generation Moto G with LTE. The smartphone will be sold through the carrier’s brick and mortar stores as well as online outlets starting Oct. 10. Although there’s already a new Moto G in the market, AT&T is offering the predecessor with a very attractive price tag. The device will set you back by $179.99 off contract, which is quite decent for a smartphone of this caliber. The Moto G LTE can also be bought through AT&T’s Next18 plan at $7.50 per month or with Next12 at $9 per month.
The smartphone is different from the standard first gen Moto G in more ways than one. In addition to offering LTE connectivity, this particular variant also comes with a microSD card slot to add extra storage as you please. In addition to these features, the smartphone comes with a 4.5 inch 720p display, a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC, a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and a 2,070 mAh battery.
