The ASUS ZenWatch wearable was quietly announced during last month’s IFA 2014 event in Berlin. We are now hearing that the device will be launching next month, but only in a select few regions. The smartwatch is one of the better looking Android Wear offerings available out there after the Moto 360, so it’s rather unfortunate that its launch will be limited to a handful of countries.
It’s not specified as to which countries will get the ZenWatch during its initial rollout. However, the device is already up for pre-order in the UK for somewhere close to $250. The device will be available in Taiwan initially, which is ASUS’ home region. We can expect to have more details from ASUS regarding wider rollout in the coming days. But as it stands, the ZenWatch will not be widely available across the globe.
Were you looking forward to getting the ASUS ZenWatch? Sound off below.
