The Moto 360 smartwatch is available for purchase through various retail outlets, but only with a leather strap. The company mentioned that a steel band version of the smartwatch will be made available later in the year, although no clarification was provided as to when exactly it will be sold. And just as we begin pondering on that, Verizon has listed this variant of the smartwatch on pre-order with a price tag of $299.99.
The listing mentions that the device will be available for purchase starting November 11, so there’s still over 2 months to wait if you’re interested in getting the Moto 360 with a steel strap. Customers will have to pay $299.99 instead of $249.99, so Motorola is asking for a $50 premium for the metal strap. However, if you’ve already bought the leather strapped model, you can purchase the stainless steel strap separately for $75.
