The T-Mobile branded HTC One M7 will start receiving the Android 4.4.3 update starting tomorrow according to an HTC spokesperson. As you might know already, the update has made its way to the One M8 over the past month or so with a bunch of new features on board. Customers can expect the same amount of changes with the One M7 even though it’s an year older compared to the One M8. T-Mobile will also roll out the WiFi calling feature along with this update.
The good news was given away via Twitter, which is usually the case with updates. Customers should also expect to see some changes to the core HTC apps such as BlinkFeed, Zoe, Gallery etc, but nothing too drastic. HTC has confirmed that its version of Android 4.4.3 contains the OpenSSL related fix which was issued with Android 4.4.4, so its smartphones will not need a separate update containing the fix.
Keep a look out for the update notification to pop up on your smartphone.
