Sprint has announced the launch of Samsung’s flagship Galaxy Tab S 10.5 tablet starting from the 12th of September. This model will be equipped with LTE and packs support for Sprint Spark networks as well. The Galaxy Tab S series features Samsung’s proprietary Super AMOLED display, which is usually only seen on its smartphones.
Considering that this is an LTE model, the tablet comes with a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 SoC on board while sharing the rest of the hardware specs from the octa core version of the tablet. The display resolution is set at 2560 x 1600 pixels, which when combined with the AMOLED panel offers excellent color reproduction. The tablet also has 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 7,900 mAh battery.
The tablet has been priced $649.99 outright or $27.09 per month for a period of two years. It’s not a lot considering this is the best tablet currently being offered by Samsung, plainly from a hardware standpoint. Sprint is only offering the Titanium Bronze version of the tablet initially.
