This week has the potential to be one of the busiest weeks of the year with multiple flagship devices and wearables expected to be announced at the IFA 2014 event in Berlin. Sony’s Xperia Z3, Z3 Tablet Compact as well as the Smartwatch 3 are expected to be shown off during the event, but a new revelation has mentioned the arrival of an accessory called Smartband Talk.
The Smartband Talk will be the successor to the company’s Smartband wearable which was launched with the Xperia Z2 earlier this year. The device is expected to be packing an e-Ink display to provide real time notifications and allow users to make or receive phone calls as well.
The Smartwatch 3 is expected to be running on Sony’s custom UI and not Android Wear which has come off as a bit of a disappointment. But Sony’s continued faith in its home grown wearable OS is bound to pay off sometime.
