Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A5 handset has just leaked out in a new set of pictures, revealing all there is to know about the upcoming metal clad handset from the Korean manufacturer. Known simply as the A5, the smartphone has a rectangular shape with what appears to be a unibody design. It is very likely that the handset will have a non-removable battery judging by the design.
The device has a central home button much like every Samsung handset that we know of, so the company hasn’t changed a lot as far as the design is concerned. It appears to be quite small in stature though, which could mean that it’s yet another midrange offering much like the Galaxy Alpha. Specs wise, the Galaxy Alpha was quite capable even though it was largely considered a midranger.
Despite looking smaller in the images, the leak suggests that the Galaxy A5 will pack a larger 5 inch HD display as well as a 13-megapixel camera with a 5-megapixel front camera. The handset is also expected to be packing a Snapdragon 400 SoC, 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot, a 2,330 mAh battery and Android 4.4.4 KitKat with the latest iteration of the TouchWiz UI.
