Motorola’s widely popular budget handset, the Moto E will soon make its way to Republic Wireless according to a new announcement from the carrier. Although there’s no clarity on when the smartphone will be up for grabs, Republic Wireless claims that the handset will be available starting October. The popular prepaid carrier will sell the smartphone with a variety of data and voice plans to attract prospective buyers. Below is the pricing structure announced by Republic Wireless:
- Unlimited talk, text, and data on WiFi only – $5/month
- Unlimited talk and text on WiFi and cellular, and unlimited data on WiFi – $10/month
- Unlimited talk, text and data on WiFi, plus 3G cellular – $25/month
The device will set you back by just $99 off contract, which makes it a very attractive offering. The smartphone is quite capable as far as hardware is concerned as well. It comes with a 4.3 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, 4GB of internal storage, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 1,980 mAh battery.
