Customers of the Moto 360 have been complaining about the smartwatch having poor battery backup ever since the device was launched earlier this month. And Motorola has been quick to respond to these reports as a new update promises to vastly improve the battery life of the device, much to the relief of the owners.
Some users on Reddit are claiming that they’re seeing 53% of battery left even after 30 hours of usage, which is incredible for a smartwatch, even more so for the Moto 360 considering the criticism it initially received. This particular update carries the build number KGW42R while the Android Wear version will be 188.8.131.528224.
Motorola is yet to comment on this update, but it goes without saying that the company has taken customer complaints quite seriously. The update apparently makes some changes to Bluetooth connectivity which conserves battery to a great extent. It’s commendable of the manufacturer to issue a quick update to what is one of the most popular smartwatches in the market today.
