We’ve heard murmurs of Motorola’s upcoming Droid Turbo smartphone over the past few weeks, but haven’t heard or seen anything conclusive. But thanks to a new leak from Hello Moto HK, we now have a brief idea of what to expect from the upcoming Verizon Droid. Much like the Droid series from last year, the device has a Kevlar patterned back cover as well as “front-ported speakers” much like the new Moto X and the Moto G. The handset also supposedly has capacitive navigation keys on the bottom bezel instead of onscreen keys, which is an odd choice from Motorola.
Other details of the smartphone are scarce at the moment, but the source believes that the Droid Turbo carries a 5.2 inch 1080p display, so it’s pretty much the same size as the new Moto X. Going by the name, it’s safe to assume that the device will also have a large sized battery, keeping the tradition of the Droid Maxx going.
Not limiting itself to just the Droid Turbo, the leak also gives us a glimpse of the back cover of the Moto S (Shamu) which is expected to be the next Nexus smartphone. What do you think of the leaks? Sound off below.
