It’s common knowledge by now that the Sony Xperia Z3 will be shown off at the company’s keynote address on the 4th of September. Most leaks and rumors of the smartphone have hinted that the device would be no different from the predecessor in terms of hardware. But it seems like the company will have at least one major change on board according to a teaser posted by the company’s Twitter page.
The image above was accompanied by the words “We’ll be getting deep at #IFA2014. But how deep…?” clearly indicating at a high level of water resistance for the upcoming flagship. The company has built up pressure on itself ever since it planned to refresh its flagship smartphone once every six months rather than doing it annually, so there will only be incremental changes in hardware compared to the predecessor. Sony’s offering will have to go up against the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and existing flagships such as the LG G3 when it lands in the market.
Will a feature like the one mentioned above make you more inclined towards buying a smartphone? Let us know below.
