A new leak from China has revealed what appears to be a press image of the HTC One M8 Eye smartphone. As the alleged press render shows, the smartphone has the same design as the One M8 but it reportedly has some key differences from the company’s first flagship of the year.
The camera sensor on the back is believed to be a 13-megapixel unit and not a 4-megapixel sensor, which is good news considering the criticism seen by the Ultrapixel camera. Interestingly, the depth of field measuring sensor will also be included with the handset. Other features of the smartphone should be the same as the One M8 including a 5 inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and the iconic stereo BoomSound speakers on the front.
Since the leak originates from China, it is very likely that the company will keep this limited to the region. What do you think of this new variant of the One M8?
