As the new Moto X starts reaching the customers’ hands, Motorola has brought four of its core apps to the Play Store, which will make it easier for the company to update them whenever necessary. Owners of the 2014 Moto X will find Moto Actions, Moto Display, Motorola Sensor Services and the Moto app listed on the Play Store, with notifications appearing whenever am update is required (if auto-download is turned off).
Moto Display is a new version of the company’s Active Display app from last year’s devices, but it’s available as a separate application. It packs a few new features to support the new Moto X hardware and allows deeper control for the users as well. Expectedly, these apps are only compatible with the 2014 Moto X for the time being, so you won’t have much luck if you own an older Moto device.
