HTC launched the Desire 610 handset along with the Desire 816 in February. Being a midrange handset, the smartphone has made quite an impact in global markets. And it seems like the smartphone will also be making its way through Verizon Wireless if an FCC listing is anything to go by. Since it’s still early days, there’s no word on how much the device will cost or when it will be available. Verizon will not be the only carrier to sell the handset though, as AT&T has been selling the Desire 610 for quite some time now.
An FCC listing usually indicates that the smartphone is bound towards the shelves sometime soon. The Desire 610 packs a 4.7 inch 960 x 540 resolution display, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 SoC, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 2,040 mAh battery. Even though it’s a midrange handset, HTC has ensured it comes with the front facing BoomSound speakers for that added punch to your music. And although it’s probably not of the same quality as the one seen on the company’s flagship, it’s certainly one of the best among midrange handsets.
