The existence of the Motorola Droid Turbo is barely a surprise to us. But since it’s still a rumored device, we’re learning something new about it almost every week. This new leak comes through GFX Bench which shows us the chipset running on the smartphone as well as the storage, RAM, display size and resolution. Unsurprisingly, the smartphone is shown to be running the Snapdragon 805 chipset with the Adreno 420 GPU which is the best chipset on offer from Qualcomm at the moment.
There’s also going to be a 5.2 inch Quad HD display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage (21GB usable) and Android 4.4.4 KitKat which is no surprise. But considering the timing of the launch, it’s safe to assume that the device will break cover with Android L.
It is to be seen if there will be a global version of this Verizon branded Droid Turbo or if it will remain an exclusive to the carrier, but we’re leaning towards the former. Motorola will be showing off the upcoming Nexus 6 a.k.a. Shamu sometime soon, so there’s plenty to look forward to.
