AT&T has just announced the arrival of its AMOLED display packing Samsung Galaxy Tab S tablets on its network. The carrier is opening pre-orders for the 8.4 and 10.5 inch Galaxy Tab S models starting today with shipments slated to start on September 23. Customers will be able to walk into a store and get the tablets three days later on the 26th of September. These models offer 4G LTE as well, while the WiFi only models have been around for some time now.
The Galaxy Tab S 10.5 will set you back by $629.99 off contract or $31.50 per month for a period of 20 months via AT&T Next. The contract pricing is a little steep at $529.99 and an extra $40 for upgrade fees. The smaller 8.4 inch Galaxy Tab S has been priced at $429 + $40 with a two year agreement. It will cost $529.99 if you’re buying it at the full retail price or $26.50 per month for 20 months with AT&T Next.
Needless to say, the Galaxy Tab S is certainly not going light on your wallets, but that’s expected considering that these are Samsung’s premier tablets packing industry topping AMOLED displays. T-Mobile is expected to sell the 10.5 inch model of the Galaxy Tab S soon while Verizon is believed to be launching both models in the coming weeks.
