Motorola themselves won’t be selling the new Moto X until later today at 11 AM EST, but AT&T has decided to do an overnight release instead. Curiously, they are referring the phone as the Moto X2, instead of just Moto X. They aren’t saying why, but it’s probably easier for them to tell customers which is the new model and which is the older one.
AT&T is offering the Black Resin, Bamboo and Black Leather variants of the new Moto X at either $99 for a 2-year contract or $526 off-contract. All pre-orders no matter which model you choose will ship starting September 23.
However, these are all the models AT&T will be carrying, as they do not offer Moto Maker. If you want a color different from these, you’ll have to wait until later today. But if you want one of these, head to AT&T right now.
