The LG G3 is currently the best Android smartphone you can get in terms of hardware on offer. However, the smartphone apparently has a striking flaw in its design which is leading to cracks near the microphone area. As seen on the image above, the crack is quite prominent and is seen by a large number of users across the world, so it’s not an isolated incident by any means.
LG is believed to be offering replacements for affected units, although the company hasn’t clarified this yet. The crack is visible quite clearly on the white variant, so it might go relatively unnoticed if you own a black or silver model, but it won’t hurt to check.
LG will most likely have to tweak the design or make some changes to the materials used in the device’s making to resolve this issue fully. We hope this is only seen with select batches of the smartphone, so not a lot of customers might be affected.
