Samsung officially has a launch date for the next Galaxy flagship, thanks to an event invitation sent to various sections of the media. The company is traditionally known for its product announcements at the IFA event in Berlin, so this has come as no surprise to us. Along with the Galaxy Note 4, Samsung is also expected to announce its first head mounted wearable known as the Gear VR, which could be widely discussed in the coming days.
Rumors have indicated that the Galaxy Note 4 will pack a 5.7 inch 2K resolution display, coupled by a Snapdragon 805 chipset along with an Exynos variant for non-LTE markets. Other rumored features of the smartphone include a 16-megapixel camera, 3GB of RAM, Android 4.4.4 KitKat and an ultraviolet sensor to keep harmful radiations in check.
Although Samsung’s teaser doesn’t make anything clear, it’s quite obvious that the Galaxy Note 4 is on its way. It will only be a matter of time now before the smartphone starts making appearances in leaks. By all indications, it is clear that the Galaxy Note 4 is going to be biggest upgrade in the Note series, although the display size might remain relatively unchanged.
