The OnePlus One smartphone has been available for purchase from the past few months with an invite system. However, this has not been well received by fans as the means of acquiring an invite have been based solely on chance. The company says that it will soon remove this system and allow all interested buyers to pre-order the device from October. So if you’ve been waiting to get your hands on the smartphone, you only have a couple of months more of waiting to do.
OnePlus said the following in its forum page – “We are working on a pre-orders system, we were initially aiming for September but it’s been slightly delayed, hopefully we’ll be ready to launch it in October.”
Understandably, the smartphone is no longer appealing to all as there have been multiple flagship offerings that have launched over the past couple of months. But it’s a good move from the manufacturer to do away with the invite system and launch the smartphone normally. Hopefully, the company won’t run into any last minute issues and deliver the handset on time.
