The Sony Xperia Z3 is a little over a week away from being officially announced, and new leaks emerging out of China are giving us a closer glimpse of the handset. This new image leak pretty much confirms that the smartphone will feature the same design as the Xperia Z2, with a 3,100 mAh non-removable battery, much to our disappointment.
Earlier leaks have told us that the Xperia Z3 could pretty much be a re-branded version of the Xperia Z2, with only a few minor changes. If there’s one area where the Xperia Z3 shines however, it’s with regards to the thickness which is expected to be just 7 mm here.
The smartphone is believed to be packing a 5.2 inch 1080p display, a quad core 2.5 GHz Snapdragon 801 SoC, 3GB of RAM, a 20.7-megapixel camera and IP67 (or better) certification for water and dust resistance. The Japanese manufacturer is also expected to show off the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact during next week’s event in Berlin, which could make more noise than the Xperia Z3.
