Motorola is already expected to launch two new smartphones on the 4th of September. And it seems like the company has six more smartphones to show off before the end of 2014, including the Moto X+1 and the Nexus 6 a.k.a Shamu.
The report mentions the possible launch of three new Verizon bound smartphones known as Droid, Droid Maxx and the Droid Turbo. It is likely that these devices will reach AT&T’s shelves as well, albeit with a different brand name. We’re not sure how different the Droid Turbo will be compared to the Droid Maxx, but we’re interested to know what the manufacturer has to offer.
There also appears to be a new device called the Moto S which is said to be an Android Silver based device. The Moto X Play is supposedly a mini version of the device. It is said that the Moto X Play could be merged with the Moto S, as the company has apparently not made up its mind yet.
Motorola has been relatively slow with regards to launching new smartphones, so it seems like the company is making up for it by launching eight new devices in the second half of 2014. The first few will be shown off within a month’s time, so hopefully we’ll get clarity on the others in due time.
