The LTE version of the Moto G is now selling for a decent $179.99 when bought directly via Best Buy’s brick and mortar stores. The usual pricing is $220, so this is a discount of $40 on the device which is clearly hard to miss. In addition to featuring LTE connectivity, this version of the Moto G also comes with a microSD card slot for storage expansion, which makes it an all round budget device.
Although customers can place the order online, the device will not be shipped and users will have to opt for an in-store pickup. Of course, it shouldn’t be much of a hindrance to the customers if they live close to a Best Buy outlet and can walk into the store and check out the smartphone at the discounted price.
The smartphone features a 4.5 inch 720p display, a quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC, a 5-megapixel camera on the back, a 1.3-megapixel front camera, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage, a 2,070 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with the promise of timely updates. Best Buy is offering both the white and black models of the smartphone at the discounted price.
So who’s getting one?
