The LG G3 comes with a very distinct UX, which is considered to be quite a shift from what we saw on the G2 last year. And according to the company, this UX will be made standard across all of its devices to maintain uniformity in appearance. This will include the addition of features like Smart Keyboard and some camera enhancements (Gesture Shot, Clean View, Touch and Shoot etc).
“With the basic principles of the G3’s UX features rooted in making complex technologies simple and convenient, our goal was to provide consumers with a user experience they genuinely need and want,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company.
Although the company doesn’t specify the devices that will receive the update to this new UX, it is understood that the likes of the G2, G Pad 8.3, G Pro 2 etc are covered. It will be interesting to see if the UX will be shared with midrange and budget devices as well, where hardware could be a constraint.
