Some customers of the LG G Watch are reportedly getting an OTA update on the device. However, the update is not seeing widespread release at the moment, so we might have to wait a while to get clarification on what’s exactly new and changed. The build number will switch to KMV78Y post the update, so make a note of that if you own the LG G Watch.
In its customary fashion, the update notification will arrive on the smartwatch with directions to install it there without having to use the smartphone. Considering that it’s not being rolled out on a large scale, we’re bound to believe it’s a minor bug fixing patch, with no new features in tow. But the changelog should shed more light on that in the coming days.
